Table of Contents
Getting Started
Bet On Her is a free iOS app for following women's sports. It brings together news, podcasts, social media, live scores, betting odds, and a map of women's sports bars — all in one place.
The app has four main tabs at the bottom of the screen.
The Bet tab can be hidden if you prefer not to see betting content.
The Tea (Feed)
The Tea tab is your central feed for women's sports content. It has three sections you can switch between using the segmented control at the top: Read, Listen, and Social.
Read (Articles)
The Read section displays news articles from dozens of women's sports outlets, organized across multiple categories:
Multi-Sport: Bet On Her, Just Women's Sports, TOGETHXR, Her Sport, Women's Sport Trust, and more
Soccer: Equalizer Soccer, WSL Full-Time, Girls Soccer Network, SheKicks, The Guardian Women's Football
Basketball: The Next Hoops, Winsidr, Hoopfeed, Her Hoop Stats
Golf: Women's Golf
Pull down on the list to refresh and load the latest articles. Tap any article to read the full story.
Listen (Podcasts)
The Listen section features over 20 curated women's sports podcasts, including:
Multi-Sport: Sports Are Fun!, Burn It All Down, The GIST of It
Soccer: BFFR with Sydney Leroux, Attacking Third, The Equalizer Podcast
Basketball: Her Hoop Stats, Locked On Women's Basketball
Tennis: WTA Insider
Running: Ali on the Run Show
Tap any episode to open the full podcast player. See Podcast Player for playback details.
Social (Bluesky)
The Social section shows public posts from verified women's sports accounts on Bluesky, including official league accounts (WNBA, NWSL, PWHL, LPGA), team accounts (Las Vegas Aces, Angel City FC), and media outlets (Her Hoop Stats, Winsidr, Equalizer Soccer).
Posts display with author info, text content, images, and engagement metrics.
Filtering Sources
Each section has a filter button (top of the screen) that opens a sheet where you can:
Toggle individual sources on or off
Use Select All or Clear All for quick changes
Browse sources organized by sport category
Your filter choices are saved automatically and persist between sessions.
Adding Custom Sources
You can add your own content sources to each section:

Live Now: Games currently in progress, marked with a red LIVE indicator showing the current score, period, and time remaining.
Finished Today: Final scores from today and yesterday.

Troubleshooting
Articles, podcasts, or social posts aren't loading
Check your internet connection.
Pull down on the list to refresh.
Make sure at least one source is enabled in your filter settings. Open the filter sheet and check that sources are toggled on.
Games aren't appearing in the Watch tab
Pull down to refresh.
If you're only seeing games for certain leagues, check that you haven't filtered to only your favorites. The "Favorites" section only shows games from leagues you've favorited in Settings.
Podcast audio won't play
Make sure your device isn't on Silent mode (check the physical switch on the side of your iPhone).
Try closing and reopening the app.
Check that another app isn't using audio (close other media apps).
Location not working on the Hang tab
Go to iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services and make sure Bet On Her has permission set to "While Using the App."
If the red "Location access denied" banner appears, tap it to go to Settings and enable access.
The AI companion says it's unavailable
The AI feature requires iOS 26 or later with Apple Intelligence enabled on a supported device.
Go to iOS Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri to verify it's turned on.
The app feels slow or content looks stale
The app caches data to improve performance. Pull down to refresh any screen.
If issues persist, try force-quitting the app (swipe up from the app switcher) and reopening it.
Reinstalling the app will clear all caches. Note: this also resets your preferences.
I added a custom source but nothing shows up
Double-check that the URL is a valid RSS feed (for articles/podcasts) or a valid Bluesky handle (for social).
Make sure the custom source is toggled on in the filter sheet after adding it.
Pull down to refresh the feed.
Calendar events aren't being added
Go to iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars and make sure Bet On Her has access.
If you previously denied calendar access, you'll need to enable it manually in iOS Settings.
