Kristen Nuss and Taryn Kloth of team USA win their first match of Paris 2024 Olympics

In their first outing at the 2024 Paris Olympics the young American phenoms proved to be a formidable force dispelling with Canada’s Sophie Bukovec and Heather Bansley in straight sets. The Americans showed a continuation of the momentum they gained from winning the Gstaad Elite 16 this summer only weeks ago. While in post match interviews their perspective was that this wasn’t their best volleyball it was clear that their immense touch and telepathic chemistry continue to prove deadly.

Nuss and Kloth continue their campaign in the most difficult pool in this Olympic tournament facing reigning Olympic silver medalists Mariafe Artacho and Taliqua Clancy on July 29.
